“ Robert G (Excellent value Indian dining) Lagos hides several excellent restaurants, many of which are hidden behind high walls with little indication that they are even there. Indigo is one such place. Refurbished a few years ago and opened up to give the restaurant a more open appeal it provides a modern, yet subtle environment in which to have an intimate or business like dining experience. The staff are knowledgeable about the menu and can make worthy recommendations. The food is superb; not swirling rivers or pools of oil here, just rich tasting sauces and succulent meats. The vegetable samosas are the best I have tasted anywhere. As for value, well we had 4 vegetable samosas, Jeera rice, butter chicken, garlic naan and shared large bottle of Heineken. Lagos consumption tax included, the bill came to slightly less than Naira 7,000 (about USD20:00). Outstanding!Indigo has been our favourite and we even used them for our leaving party, feeding some 40 people plus serving staff for the equivalent of about $12 per head. ”
